Job Summary:
We have a great opportunity for an assistant team Manager in South East London
Responsibilities:
To deputise for the Team Manager in managing people, service processes and resources.
To provide professional supervision to staff to some of the staff is the team
To ensure compliance with guidance, regulations, policy and procedure.
To monitor performance and ensure that services are delivered to a high standard and deliver the required outcomes for children
To be a resource to promote professional training and development within the team and service group.
Be responsible for the health and safety of staff.
The Assistant Team Manager will be required to supervise a complex range of work and oversee effective risk assessments implementing strategies to ensure that work assessed as requiring a service is managed effectively and within required timescales.
The Assistant Team Manager will possess strong judgement skills so as to make effective decisions in relation to the relevant departmental priorities and eligibility criteria when delivering services to high risk and vulnerable service users.
Provide professional supervision to a number of social workers / social care staff in the team.
To promote the delivery of quality services as measured by national standards and performance indicators.
• Pay rate is between £20– £25 per hour
GSCC Registration is essential.
