Job Summary:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Social worker to join a Children’s Team in East London
Responsibilities:
To carry out assessments of children in need and to formulate recommendations for support plans.
To carry out complex assessment work including child protection investigations and related duties.
To carry out the full range of assessment, care planning and reviewing activity in relation to children looked after.
To prepare applications and reports for Court and to represent the Council at Court.
To develop, implement and review care plans for children in need and their families in line with legislation best practice and Hackney policies and procedures.
To keep accurate records in accordance with policy, good practice and Department of Health Standards.
To develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the legislation, regulations and departmental procedures relating to children and families work.
To carry out responsibilities and duties in line with legal requirements and council policy and procedures.
• Pay rate is between £20 – £25 per hour
GSCC Registration is essential.
