Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Senior Qualified Social worker to join a Children Team in West London
Responsibilities:
To assist in the management of a multi-disciplinary community mental health team for older people.
To contribute to the development of service provision.
To carry a small caseload.
To incorporate the Council’s Equal Opportunities Policies in all areas of work, with particular reference to discriminated against groups including black people and those from other minority groups, women, older people, people with disabilities and lesbians and gay men.
To perform all duties with due regard to the council’s principles of Customer Care.
To work fairly and consistently with staff in implementing the Council’s employment procedures such as Recruitment and Selection, Fair Treatment, Disciplinary and Absence Management Policies.
To maintain the warrant and perform the duties of an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) or be prepared to undertake AMHP training and perform the duties of an AMHP.
To assist in the production and implementation of the Service Plan, Business Plan and Unit Equality Plan.
To be aware of appropriate financial procedures.
To meet service standards as agreed with the Team Manager and Senior Management Team.
• Pay rate is between £22– £27 per hour
GSCC Registration is essential.
